The Conditional Use Permit application was officially submitted to the City of Huntington Beach Planning Department. This is a major milestone for the Mariners Church Huntington Beach, Theater Project. A conditional use permit allows the city to consider uses which are not allowed as a matter of right within a zoning district, through a public hearing process. The city staff told us the CUP process will take 3 to 4 months. Meanwhile, we have moved forward with our architect to produce construction documents to be used to bid and build the remodel project.
